Born in 1947 in Karachi (then undivided India), Dr. Advani moved to India with his family after Partition. At the young age of 8, he was diagnosed with polio, which left him physically challenged. Despite these difficulties, he refused to let his disability define him. His determination, resilience, and passion for medicine shaped his journey into becoming one of the most respected oncologists in the world.
