  1. Maj Gen (Dr) Sunny Eapen is an alumnous of prestigious Armed Forces Medical College. He is an Army Veteran with 37 years of experience both clinical as well as administrative. He has provided Medical Cover for various Army Operations like IPKF in Srilanka, Op Vijay in Kargil, OP Hifazat in Manipur and has been commended by Chief of Army Staff as well as Army Commander.
  2. While in the Army he has held several coveted appointments Commandant Military Hospital Ferozpur( Punjab),Military Hospital Jabalpur(MP), Brigadier Administration AFMC & Major General (Medical) South Western Command.
  3. He has done Post Graduation from Mumbai University and is a recognised Professor in Anesthesia as well as a PG Examiner. He has several research publications in national Anesthesiology & CTVS Journals and has special interest in Paediatric Anesthesia &Labour Analgesia (Painless Labour). 
  4. Maj Gen (Dr) Sunny Eapen is presently holding the appointment of HOD Anesthesiology & Medical Director in  Smita Memorial hospital & Research Centre, Thodupuzha.
