Biography
Dr. Sanu P Moideen completed his undergraduate studies in Medicine at Government Medical College, Cochin, Kerala. He then pursued his postgraduate education in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery at Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Research Centre, Tumkur.
Following his postgraduate studies, Dr. Moideen underwent specialized training in Pediatric ENT at the esteemed Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of India’s top medical institutions. Additionally, he obtained a Post Doctoral fellowship in Head and Neck Oncosurgery from the State-Owned Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum.
His international exposure includes a scholarship grant from the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (AAOHNS), enabling him to train in Pediatric ENT at Texas Children’s Hospital, USA. He also received a travel grant from the ENT Department of Jikei University, Japan, for training in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeries.
Dr. Moideen was selected for Fellowship training in Snoring and Sleep Apnea Surgeries by the Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnea (IASSA), completing the training at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad.
Apart from his medical practice, Dr. Moideen is actively engaged in charitable activities. He serves as one of the Trustees of United Medical Mission (UMM), a network of NGO’s endeavoring to create a Healthier & Vibrant Global Community that operates charitable health clinics in rural areas of India and abroad, providing free consultation and subsidized surgical treatment. UMM also conducts medical and surgical training for doctors and healthcare professionals.
In the academic realm, Dr. Moideen is an invited faculty member for various training programs. He is currently involved in seven research projects and has contributed to over 22 articles published in various peer-reviewed indexed journals.
Dr. Moideen specializes in a range of clinical areas, including minimally invasive ENT surgeries, Head and Neck Oncosurgery, Rhinology & Skull Base Surgeries, Snoring & Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) Management, and Pediatric ENT.
