SMITA Hospital Online Appointment Booking Policy

  1. Review of Terms and Conditions: Patients are advised to carefully review the details and terms and conditions before fixing an appointment.

  2. Booking Time Frame: Appointments can be booked starting 30 days before the appointment date, and booking is available until 11:00 AM on the day of the appointment.

  3. Cancellation and Transfer Policy: Online appointments cannot be canceled, transferred, or changed by the patient. This includes changes to the doctor or appointment date.

  4. Failure to Report: Failure to report on time for your appointment will be considered as an absence.

  5. Appointment Slots: Appointment slots and times are provisional and may change based on the duty schedule of the concerned doctor.

  6. Hospital Rescheduling Rights: SMITA Hospital reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments to accommodate emergency patients.

  7. Notification of Changes: In the event of cancellation or rescheduling by the hospital, patients will be notified by telephone/SMSWhatsApp. The patient may accept the new date or time slot.

  8. Liability for Rescheduled Appointments: If the hospital cancels or reschedules the appointment, the only liability will be a refund of the collected fee. SMITA Hospital is not responsible for any other costs, expenses, or damages.

  9. Appointment Confirmation: Please bring a printout or SMS confirmation of your appointment when you arrive at the hospital.

  10. Contact for Issues on Arrival: If there are issues with your online appointment upon arrival, please contact the OP registration counter.


Cancellation / Refund Policy

  • No Cancellation/Refund: There is no cancellation or refund available after payment is made.

  • Duplicate Payment or Cancellation by Hospital: In case of duplicate payment or cancellation by the hospital, please contact the OP registration counter with transaction reference or bank statement for a refund. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days based on the payment gateway and bank policies.

SMITA Hospital may update its booking policy at any time, with or without prior notice. Updates may include significant changes regarding how user data is handled.
