To minimize the risk of infection, only one attendant at a time is allowed with every patient. Attendants are requested to wear the “attendant pass” while they are inside the hospital premises.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

  • Visitors: Limited to two visitors per patient at a time.
  • Children: Children under 12 years old are not allowed unless under special circumstances and approved by hospital staff.
  • ID Requirement: All visitors must present a valid photo ID upon entry.
  • Health Screening: Mandatory temperature checks and health screenings at the entrance.
  • Flu-Like Symptoms: Visitors showing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath will not be permitted.
  • Restricted Areas: Some areas, like intensive care units, may have specific visiting restrictions. Please inquire at the information desk.
  • Noise Level: Maintain a quiet environment to ensure patient rest and recovery.
  • Visiting Duration: While there is no strict time limit, visitors are encouraged to be considerate of other patients and keep visits brief.
  • Special Circumstances: Exceptions may be made for end-of-life situations or special needs; consult with nursing or administrative staff.
  • Security: All visitors must wear visitor badges provided by the hospital and follow all security protocols.

Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after visiting a patient. This helps prevent the spread of germs and infections.

Obey Infection Control Measures: Follow any posted infection control measures, such as wearing masks or gowns if required.

Respect Privacy: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other patients. Avoid discussing personal or sensitive matters in public areas.

Follow Visiting Hours: Adhere to the hospital’s visiting hours and any restrictions on the number of visitors allowed at one time.

Be Considerate: Be considerate of other patients, visitors, and hospital staff. Keep noise levels low and avoid disruptive behavior.

Bring Necessary Items: Bring only necessary items for the patient such as personal belongings required during the hospital stay.

Encourage Rest: Encourage the patient to rest and follow any medical advice provided by the healthcare team.

Respect Restricted Areas: Obey restricted or designated areas within the hospital and follow any specific guidelines related to patient care units.

Quiet Environment: Maintain a quiet and calm environment in patient rooms and common areas to promote healing and rest.

Limit Visitors: Keep the number of visitors to a reasonable and manageable level to avoid overcrowding and disturbance.

Follow Dietary Restrictions: If a patient has dietary restrictions, respect and follow those guidelines.

Ask for Permission: Always ask for permission before taking photographs or videos within the hospital premises.

Follow Instructions: Follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the hospital staff regarding visiting the patient.

 

 

DON’Ts 

Don’t Visit When Sick: If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of illness, avoid visiting the hospital to prevent spreading infections to patients who may already have compromised immune systems.

Don’t Bring Restricted Items: Avoid bringing restricted items such as flowers, balloons, or food items unless permitted by hospital policy.

Don’t Overstay: Limit the duration of your visit to allow the patient time to rest and recover. Avoid overstaying your welcome, especially during designated visiting hours.

Don’t Disturb Medical Procedures: Avoid disrupting medical procedures, treatments, or examinations. Follow any instructions provided by the healthcare team during your visit.

Don’t Ignore Safety Rules: Follow all safety rules and regulations within the hospital, including restrictions on smoking, use of electronic devices, and access to restricted areas.

Don’t Disregard Infection Control Measures: Adhere to infection control measures, such as wearing protective clothing or masks if required, and disposing of waste properly.

Don’t Violate Patient Rights: Respect the rights and dignity of the patient at all times. Refrain from discussing the patient’s condition or medical history without their consent.

Don’t Bring Large Groups: Avoid bringing large groups of visitors, especially during times when the patient needs rest or privacy.

Disruptive Behavior: Avoid disruptive behaviour, including loud conversations, music, or other disturbances.

Disregard Visitor Limitations: Adhere to any restrictions on the number of visitors allowed in a patient’s room at a given time.

Enter Restricted Areas: Avoid entering areas marked as restricted or off-limits to visitors.

Violate Privacy: Do not violate the privacy of other patients or their families by eavesdropping or intruding on their personal space.

Our cafeteria is located on the Ground Floor . The meals served here are delicious. It is a convenient option for all visitors to have refreshment within hospital premises at a nominal rate.
