Biography
Dr. Abey has more than 9 years experience in the filed of orthopaedic surgery. He has worked as
consultant in many renowned hospitals around the state and has moved to Smita Hospital, after
working at Lisie Hospital, Ernakulam for the last 4 years. He is an expert trauma care surgeon capable
of managing ploy trauma cases and complex as well as open fractures. He is trained in Arthroscopy
and sports medicine and is well versed in diagnosing and treating sport injuries of knee and shoulder
through keyhole surgeries. His areas of interest are knee and shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty
surgeries. He has also published few papers in medical journals
