Dr. Mathews Jose is an expert emergency physician with more than 4 years of experience in the field of Emergency medicine. He completed MBBS from the Govt Medical College, Mandya, Karnataka. Later he did specialization, DNB Emergency Medicine from Lourdes Hospital – Postgraduate institute of medical sciences and research, Kochi under the National Board of Examinations. After his specialty training, he has worked in various super specialty hospitals including Pushpagiri medical college, Thiruvalla and Caritas hospital Kottayam before joining Smita hospital. His areas of interest include early identification and resuscitation of acute medical emergencies, emergency airway management and ventilation, point of care ultrasound, resuscitation of cardiac arrest and polytrauma patients according to the latest international protocols and guidelines. He has also successfully completed his membership examinations of The Royal college of emergency medicine, UK. He is actively involved in teaching various medical and paramedical professionals in CPR, advanced cardiac life support, advanced pediatric life support courses designed by the American Heart Association since last 4 years. He is also an internationally certified advanced trauma life support provider.
