Dr. Navya Mary Kurian is a specialist in Endocrinology with a strong academic and
clinical background. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College,
Kottayam, followed by MD in General Medicine from MKCG Government Medical
College in Berhampur, Orissa. She further pursued a DM Endocrinology from the
SGPGIMS, Lucknow.

Dr. Navya Mary Kurian began her professional journey as an Assistant Professor in
Endocrinology at SGPGI, Lucknow in 2018. Between 2021 and 2023, she served as an
Assistant Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at Dr. RML Institute of
Medical Sciences, Lucknow. She then worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Sree
Chitra Hospital in Kannur from 2023 to 2024. Before joining Smita Hospital, she is
practicing as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Lourdes Hospital, Kochi.

Her areas of interest include diabetes, with a focus on advanced technologies such
as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS). She also
specializes in thyroid and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease, pituitary and
growth disorders, pediatric endocrinology, and disorders of sexual differentiation.
